Family of Richard Yeamans Peters and Sarah Ann Flewelling
Richard Yeamans PETERS (son of Marcus PETERS and Fanny GOLDING) was born abt 1811 in New Brunswick. He was baptised 26 June 1811 in Hampstead, Queens County, New Brunswick. He died after 1870, probably in Maine, U.S.A. Richard was a farmer.

Richard Yeamans PETERS married Sarah Ann FLEWELLING 18 February 1835 in Kings County, New Brunswick.

Sarah Ann FLEWELLING (probably the dau. of Caleb FLEWELLING and Mary [BRITTAIN]) was born abt 1813 in New Brunswick. She died after 1870, possibly in Maine, U.S.A.

Richard and Sarah lived in New Brunswick until abt 1846 when they moved to Maine, U.S.A. The 1850 Maine census had them living in Bancroft Plantation, Aroostook County.

Richard Yeamans PETERS and Sarah Ann FLEWELLING had the following children:

  9. Eliza E. PETERS (abt 1851 - ?)
  10. Clarissa E. PETERS (abt 1855 - ?)

This family can be found in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 Maine U.S.A. census.
