Family of Mary Peters and Lewis Pickett
Mary PETERS (dau. of William PETERS and Amy [SUTTON]) probably died after 1827 and before March 1845 in New Brunswick.

Mary PETERS married Lewis PICKETT.

Lewis PICKETT (parents unknown) was born about 1773 probably in British Colonial America. He died after 1851 in New Brunswick.

Mary PETERS and Lewis PICKETT had the following children:

  1. David W. PICKETT (abt 1809 - abt 1872)
  2. Willet[t] Peters PICKETT (abt 1810 - 1888)
  3. James L. PICKETT (? - abt 1847)
  4. Mary M. PICKETT (abt 1817 - abt 1893)
A quit claim deed dated 6 Jun 1827 identifies Lewis Pickett and his wife Mary (nee. Peters) as heirs to Mary's mother Amy Peters. A land deed dated 26 March 1845 names all four of Lewis and Mary's children. The 1851 Springfield, New Brunswick census lists Lewis Pickett (infirm) with children David and Mary.
